RON JUTEAU, B.A., AACI, P.App.

Mr. Juteau is the President of the firm. He specializes in appraisal for litigation and expropriation purposes and has been employed as a senior consultant by various levels of government and government agencies. Major recent assignments have included the valuation of LeBreton Flats and CFB Rockcliffe, the expropriation of the lands for the Cardinal Creek Storm Water Management facility, and acting as consultant to the City of Ottawa for its lease/purchase of 100 Constellation Drive and its negotiations on the value of the air rights over the Ottawa Public Library.

Mr. Juteau has testified as an expert witness on many occasions before the Ontario Municipal Board and has also testified in the Ontario Court of Justice — General Division, the Administrative Tribunal of Quebec and Federal Court. He has also lectured/presented to the Law Society of Upper Canada ("Financial Evidence and Valuations in Family Law"), the Ontario Real Estate Association, the Real Estate Institute of Canada, the International Right of Way Association, the National Conference of the Appraisal Institute of Canada ("Subdivision Expropriation — Strategy and Valuation Issues"), and the New Brunswick Association of the Appraisal Institute of Canada "Land Valuation Issues".

Mr. Juteau is a graduate of McGill University under the ROTP program (1969), served as an Infantry officer for six years before returning to college for an honours diploma in Real Estate and Appraisal (1976). He is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association and of the Ontario Expropriation Association.
